Brain Tumor Research Partners
Every year, Brain Tumor Companion (BTC) fundraises for a new research institution that we believe is making a difference. These are doctors and centers that our BTCompanions have personal experience with.

Our goal is to partner and collaborate with neurosurgeons and their research teams across the U.S. to stay informed about advancements and ensure access to the most compassionate care, innovative treatments, and clinical trials.

You can donate directly to the fundraisers below or give a gift to BTC, knowing that 100% of your research donation will be distributed to these efforts.

USC Brain Tumor Center
Est. 2023
Our collaboration with Dr. Zada and USC brought many of us together in 2023 for our most successful fundraiser to date. As a thank-you, USC hosted an educational luncheon for our Brain Tumor Companions. Their team, comprised of exceptional neurosurgeons, social workers, and nurse navigators, sets the bar high by prioritizing both groundbreaking research and compassionate patient care. Lenox Hill Hospital
Est. 2024
BTC established a partnership with Lenox Hill in March 2022 when we began hosting Educational Zoom sessions with them. This allowed us to connect with the neurosurgical team, many of whom you may recognize from the Netflix documentary Lenox Hill. Since then, we have continued collaborating, and in 2024, BTC officially launched a fundraising campaign for Dr. Boockvar and his team. We set a goal to raise at least $10,000 and continue to work towards this number. By the end of 2024, we exceeded $4,000.
Head for the Cure (HFC)
Est. 2022
In May 2022, BTC set a goal to raise $15,000 and participate as a top donor in the HFC Phoenix 5K race. We did this in honor of our dear friend and glioblastoma survivor, Maki.
Since then, numerous BTCompanions have participated in this event, and we continue to support and raise awareness for this organization. As of January 2025, we have exceeded $18,000!
